Facilities
We have a wide range of facilities available at Threemilestone Community Centre, and you can find details of these below. We’ve also detailed a pricing range per hall – these are for casual (one-off) hires. If you’re interested in coming onboard as a regular, please get in touch as we offer discounts for regular and block bookings.* You can contact us on info@threemilestonecc.co.uk
Please note that casual hires are also subject to a deposit. More details on this below. Casual hires will need to complete a short booking form, and pay all fees in full (hire fees and deposits) to be confirmed in the diary.
*Regular hirers must commit to a minimum of 12 sessions in a 12 month period to access discounted rates.

Fully accessible
We’re very proud of the fact that the whole building is disabled accessible, being on one level and having step-free entry. We have disabled toilet stalls in each gendered toilet, and a “disabled spaces” toilet / shower room.
We also have a dedicated baby change room.

No hidden costs
We don’t charge extra for chairs, tables, heating, or electric. Threemilestone Community Centre prices are “price you’re quoted is the price you pay”.
For casual hires, like birthday parties or meetings, this is on an hourly basis.

Projector & screen
A volunteer kindly donated a projector and 60″ screen to the community centre for us, and our hirers, to use. This is available at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis. It has built-in speakers, though you may wish to bring your own HDMI cable.

Wi-Fi
We have free Wi-Fi available throughout the building. Login details for our network will be on the noticeboard in the hall you have hired.

COVID-19 filters
We have COVID-19 filters in Chyvelah, Pengelly, and Hugus halls. These filter and circulate the air twice an hour and are free for you to use.

CCTV
For yours and others safety, the building is extensively covered by CCTV.

Chyvelah
Overview
Chyvelah hall is our most popular, and largest, space with a capacity of up to 250 people.
It has access to the kitchen, a built-in stage, COVID-19 filters, free Wi-Fi, a bar, tables, chairs, direct access to the committee room, and double doors connecting to Pengelly hall.
Tables and stacks of chairs are available for you to use within Chyvelah hall. Additional tables, if needed, can be found on trolleys in our “inner foyer” – just outside the door to the hall.

Kitchen Access
Our kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, full-size fridge, microwave, commercial hot water urn, large plate / food warmer, kettles, catering teapots, and a selection of crockery and cutlery. Please note we do not have bakeware, pots, pans, or a dishwasher.
Kitchen use, for casual hirers, is a flat fee of £10.
Pricing
Chyvelah hall, on a casual or one-off basis, costs between £25 and £35 an hour. The lower rate is available for bookings that take place any day before 7pm. After 7pm, the costs increase, with the premium price being for Friday and Saturday nights.
There is also a deposit to pay. For bookings before 7pm, this is £50. After 7pm, the deposit increases to £100.
Deposits are refunded by cheque after your hire, providing no remedial maintenance or cleaning needs to be done as a result of your hall use.

Pengelly

Pengelly hall is a bright and generous space, with a capacity of up to 50 people.

It has a built in kitchenette with microwave, kettle, and sink. It also has COVID-19 filters, free Wi-Fi, tables and chairs.

The committee room
Overview
The committee room is our smallest space, with a capacity of up to 20 people. If you are planning a sit-down meeting, then you may find 10 people a more comfortable capacity.
Two semi circular tables, and stacks of chairs, are available for you to use within the committee room.

Regular Hirers
If you would like to come on as a regular hirer, please contact us on info@threemilestonecc.co.uk
To qualify for our discounted rates, you will need to be able to commit to at least 12 sessions in a 12 month period. These don’t always have to be on the same day, at the same time, or even in the same hall. If your group breaks for school holidays, you’ll need to make sure to confirm the dates you don’t want to hire with our centre manager.

No deposits
Pay for what you use, in arrears, upon receipt of an invoice. We invoice for your hall use at the start of the following month.*
*7 working days notice required for cancellations.

Discounted rates
We have hourly prices (for up to two hour sessions) and session prices. A session is for up to four hours, and is a flat fee. We’ll always charge you the lesser amount.

Easy sign up
One short form to complete, and some terms and conditions to agree to, and you’re all done. All our paperwork is done online, so no pesky bits of paper to worry about.
